A purpose built room designed specifically for artists to display their works of art, this spacious and airy room is becoming increasingly popular as a venue for small meetings, workshops, seminars and cocktail parties. Measuring 16.45m x 7.5m, the Gallery overlooks the outdoor pond and patio and features independent access from Mitchell Street. For artists, it is equipped with hanging rails, plinths and track lighting, with space available on the ground level foyer for opening night functions. For event organisers, the Gallery can be configured with tables and chairs to accommodate 60 people in dinner/cabaret mode, 25 in boardroom mode, 80 in theatre style or 100 people standing.

Darwin Entertainment
Centre is able to assist in the promotion of your
event at affordable rates. Services includes the preparation
and placement of press advertising and the organising
of television and radio coverage. Advertising signage
can also be arranged.

| Event Ticketing | ||||||||||||
Our professional
Box Office staff are happy to assist should you require
all or part of your event to be ticketed. Dedicated
telephone reservation facilities, online booking capability
and a convenient location in the heart of the CBD
as well as outlets at Casuarina and Palmerston ensure
that purchasing tickets is easy and convenient. Both
general admission and assigned seat events, including
seminars, workshops and functions, can be ticketed
by the Box Office.

A
traditional proscenium arch theatre, The Playhouse
seats between 980 and 1054 (depending on configuration)
and can be reduced in size to seat 412 in the stalls
only (using the running curtain under the dress
circle). It is an ideal venue for keynote addresses,
annual general meetings and presentations. Featuring
state-of-the-art technical facilities including
portable and fixed projection screens, a video/data
projector and extensive audio and lighting equipment,
the Playhouse is equipped to handle the most demanding
conference or event. .
The Studio Theatre is a small, intimate, and very
flexible space that can be set up in either theatre
mode or in a flat floor format. In theatre mode
the Studio comfortably seats 278 for lectures, seminars
and meetings. With the seating raised, the floor
space can accommodate cocktail parties of up to
250 people or a cabaret/dinner setting for 200 people.
Having successfully housed events ranging from car
launches to fashion shows, the versatility of the
Studio is limited only by your imagination.
Whilst there is no in-house catering available
at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, our Front of
House Coordinator is pleased to offer a range of
food and beverage packages suitable for your event
and can be contacted for a list of recommended caterers.
Experienced Front of House staff, including bar
staff and ushers, are available to assist in ensuring
that events of all sizes run smoothly.
