Ticketing Information
Concession: Includes full time students, Seniors and all Government-issued pension cardholders. Concession cards must be shown when picking up tickets or full price will be charged.
DEC member: Phone 8980 3333 to book up to four tickets per member. Members must show current membership card upon ticket collection to be entitled to tickets at the member price.
Show Information
The winner of this year's Sydney International Piano Competition of Australia is Konstantin Shamray. Konstantin was born in 1985 in Novosibirsk, Russia. He began studies in the Kemerovo Music School and from 1996 continued his studies in Moscow at the Gnessin Special Music School and in 2003 at the Russian Gnessin Academy of Music with Tatiana Zelikman.  

He has been the recipient of several Foundation awards and has performed in many concert halls in Moscow and other cities in Russia and also in Italy, Germany, Holland, Austria, Czech Republic and USA.   His solo recitals have many different programmes and he has performed with international orchestras including the Prague and Moscow Philharmonic Orchestras.   He has recorded CDs in Holland and the Czech Republic.

This is an assigned seat event in the Studio. Capacity is approximately 280. Click here to view a Studio seating plan. Latecomers will be admitted during a suitable break in the program. Cameras and recording equipment will not be permitted in the auditorium. Running time is to be confirmed.
