Tickets can be purchased online until 5:00pm Friday 30th May. Tickets booked online can be collected at the venue (Nauiyu Community) from 6:30pm. Please provide appropriate ID and proof of booking as listed on your booking confirmation email.

Ticketing Information
Child: Includes children aged 8 - 17 years. Children under 8 years admitted free of charge.
Concession: Includes full time students, seniors and unemployed pension cardholders.
Picnic hampers: Picnic hampers cater for two people and include cured meats, barramundi, crocodile, kangaroo pastrami, cheese, bread and salad drizzled with a dressing infused with local bush tucker herbs. Advance booking recommended. To book a hamper in conjunction with your tickets follow the link above. Event Information

Entry to the concert is general admission and patrons should take chairs and rugs to sit on. 

Please note that alcohol is not permitted to be taken into Nauiyu community. Food, non-alcoholic drinks, eskies, cans and chairs are permitted. Patrons are welcome to pack a picnic, or pre-purchase bush tucker picnic hampers prepared by 'walkabout chef' Steve Sunk. Patrons should avoid taking glass into the venue and shade devices and umbrellas are prohibited.

The concert will begin at sunset with traditional dancing performed by the Palumpa Dancers and a traditional water ceremony welcoming the visiting string quartet. Running time of the performance is approximately 2 hours.

About the Festival
The concert forms part of the Merrepen Arts Festival held on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June. Entry to the festival is free, however patrons attending the concert will be required to purchase a ticket.

Merrepen Festival is easily accessible on sealed bitumen roads and is only 3 hours drive from Darwin driving through the picturesque Daly River Region.  Drive south from Darwin on the Stuart Highway to Adelaide River and turn right onto Dorat Road, just after the bridge in Adelaide River. Drive along Dorat Road for approximately 90 kms then turn right onto the Daly River Rd. Follow this road all the way to the Merrepen Art Centre at Nauiyu.

Camping is not available in the community but there are a number of tourist parks throughout the area offering a full range of accommodation options.
