About the performance

Simon Pampena is an exciting performer and passionate mathematician who has combined his two loves: stand-up and mathematics. The result is a pioneering area of comedy and a new way to communicate the potential of maths for everyone. With a cry of "out of the books and onto the streets!" Simon has spent the past 4 years inspiring, engaging and above all having fun with subject matter too daunting for most. He has appeared on ABC’s Catalyst program along with 3 successful MATHS shows in the Melbourne Comedy Festival. His latest show, The Maths Olympics, was selected to run at Federation Square during this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival as part of their Kids’ Comedy Program.
