Show Information

Singer-songwriter, spoken word artist, writer, publisher, columnist, actor, radio host, television host, actor, activist and now photographer Henry Rollins is one of the most intriguing career chameleons of the modern world.

In 2012 he returns to Australia for The Long March tour – a month long tour taking him to every state in the country.

For better than a quarter of a century, Rollins has toured the world as a spoken word artist, as frontman for both Rollins Band and Black Flag and – without a microphone – as a solitary traveller with insatiable curiosity bypassing the resorts in favour of places like Siberia and Senegal, or Burma and Bangladesh.

His curiosity and hunger for experienced based knowledge, teamed with his willingness to travel, his no-holds-barred delivery of his opinions and observations, and wicked sense of humour make him one of the most inspiring and interesting commentators and entertainers of a generation.

Running time of the performance is to be advised. Latecomers will be admitted during a suitable break in the program. Cameras and recording equipment will not be permitted in the auditorium.

This is an assigned seat event in the Playhouse. Capacity is approximately 1000. Click here to view a Playhouse seating plan.
