Ticketing Information
School student: Full time school students.
Child: Children 3 - 15 years and school students. Children under 3 years not occupying a seat are admitted free of charge.
FODSO & DEC members: Friends of the Darwin Symphony Orchestra and DEC members are entitled to a discount on tickets. Please book through the Box Office on 08) 8980 3333.
Concession: Includes full and part time students, Seniors and all Government-issued pension cardholders. Concession cards must be shown when picking up tickets or full price will be charged.
2008 season package
Water, Fire and Passion is part of Darwin Symphony Orchestra's 2008 season program. Discounted season tickets, either for three or all four of the performances within the season, are available through the Box Office and outlets. Information on the other performances forming the season is below:

Tantalising Tchaikovsky - Saturday 8th March 2008
An all Tchaikovsky program featuring Symphony No. 6, Cappricio Italien and Violin Concerto.

From Mist to Trees - Saturday 19th April 2008
Five major French works from the Romantic period are juxtaposed with music from Japan. Two of Australia’s leading percussionists, Thomas O’Kelly and David Jones, will tackle works by Milhaud and Watanabe.

Gershwin… And All That Jazz - Saturday 15th November 2008
George Gershwin was instrumental in creating what is now known as the voice of American music. The Australian pianist Michael Harvey presents two works by Gershwin for orchestra, Rhapsody in Blue and variations on I got Rhythm, as well as Carl Vine’s Piano Sonata.  The remainder of the program showcases Michael Daugherty, the most commissioned composer of his generation, Charlie Chaplin’s film The Risk with music composed by Carl Davis and closing with the Grand Canyon Suite by Ferde Grofe.

Running time of the performance is approximately 2 hours including a 15 minute interval at approximately 8:50pm. Cameras and recording equipment will not be permitted in the auditorium.
