About Marty Rhone

Marty grew up in Nightcliff & Parap before heading south to Sydney as a teenager to follow his dream; a dream that has taken him to stages across the world including the London Palladium & the famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the United States. Plus No1 hits, TV series and a career that led Bert Newton to say ‘Marty Rhone is one of this country’s best – ever.

Marty’s parents Judy and Eddy Van Rhoon were fixtures on the Darwin music scene back in the 50’s. Eddy was the Territory’s leading musician and Judy was a principal in the Darwin Musical Comedy Society appearing in many Darwin stage productions.

Marty is extremely excited about returning home to where it all started and Darwinians are going to see an exciting and vibrant concert that has been receiving rave reviews wherever it has gone.
